I’ve been in the health industry since the dawn of time, well over 20 years at least, working as a Nurse in Trauma and Orthopaedics before transitioning to a career in coaching and nutrition. It was as a student nurse that I established a longstanding passion for health which has evolved over the years alongside my personal health journey.
Following my career in nursing, I joined my brother (legendary coach and all round top chap) to run CrossFit Bold, one of London’s original CrossFit affiliates. Little did I know at the time, but living and breathing this intense style of training, along with a long history of caloric restriction and sidelined digestive issues was quite simply working against my body in every way. The signs were all there, amenorrhoea, bloating, weight fluctuations, thinning hair, puffy face, constipation, food intolerances, poor temperature control, you name it, my body was in an almighty funk.
We sold the affiliate in 2014 to take a wider interest in the health and fitness industry. I left the CrossFit model of high intensity training, and reshaped my approach to my training and coaching, leaning towards individualised strength and conditioning programmes. As a result, my health started to improve, as did that of my client’s, but there was still a missing piece to the puzzle.
In 2017 I retrained in Nutrition with both an honours diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition and qualification as an Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP). Through my work as an NTP, I began to understand the importance of blood sugar and hormonal balance, decreased stress levels, optimal gut health, and the significance of both circadian and infradian rhythms.
I finally understood that constantly pushing through intense workouts, fasting and restricting was doing my metabolism, fertility, gut health and overall vitality a huge disservice. By striving to constantly ‘achieve’ and never slowing down, I was in a constant state of fight or flight and my body was paying the price.
Through my journey to understand my body and improve my relationship with food and exercise, I transformed my health, alleviating all my symptoms and far surpassing my goals. I realised that beyond the archiac diet culture of ‘eat less, exercise more’ we are now armed with so many science-backed powerful nutritional, training and lifestyle tools that can bring about real positive change.

I contacted Harri as a new mum living on sugar and caffeine, knowing I wanted a bit more control of my eating habits but not even knowing where to start. Harri created a personalised nutrition plan which ultimately not only helped me achieve the goals I had talked to her about but also resolved things which I hadn't even considered issues of my diet. She regularly checked in with me and my progress, adjusting things if needed and gave me some meal examples from the off which was great as my mental capacity for creativity at that point in time was low. After doing a lot of research into investing into having advice from a nutritionist i decided to go with Harri as she was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that I chose her.
I first came to Harri with various health concerns mainly surrounding women’s health due to previous hysterectomy and hormone and bladder related symptoms.
Right from the off set Harri took her time to really investigate in great depth all of my history, symptoms and issues and even things that I never would’ve thought contributed to my problem. Harri’s 6 week bespoke training and nutrition plan was exactly what I needed to get my health back on track. I went into the programme looking to lose some weight, which I did (lost over a stone and 3 inches off my waist). But I didn’t plan to improve my energy levels and gut health which I also did and were actually more beneficial to me than losing the body fat. The plan Harri provided and coached me through was simple to follow. I could still drink alcohol and never exercised for more than 30mins at a time which helped massively around work and home life with 2 young children. I had a badly broken leg a few years ago and never really got my fitness back and had gained weight that I was struggling to shift. I decided to sign up for Harri’s online training, nutrition and lifestyle plan.
My goal was to try and drop 4kg, get into some of my old clothes and to feel less confined to gym class timetables by getting a better understanding of training, as well as nutrition. I had been training, but hadn’t been seeing results and I had always liked Harri’s holistic approach, and couldn’t wait to give it a go.
Six weeks on and I’ve lost those stubborn 4kg, but more importantly I feel far more energetic, stronger, fitter and have a much better understanding of nutrition and training and generally just living my best life. I also have much better recovery after training days, so I can get back in the gym sooner. Lots of people have made positive comments, which is also really nice feedback to get.
The plans itself is mega easy to follow, especially if you use cook books like the mindful chefs. The exercise is tough but fun- I never got bored of the programme due to the variety. Harri is also really supportive, sending through lots of useful hints and tips. The exercise videos are also really useful. I would 100% recommend this programme. It isn’t a crash six week diet- it’s a lifestyle change, and one that I plan on keeping! Couldn’t recommend Bold Health more.

I've been working with Harri through a particularly tricky time in my life. Harri and I started a six-week programme together as I was having some health investigations. Harri held such an important space for me as I worked through this experience of receiving an unexpected and unwanted diagnosis. Her sessions were thoughtful and considerate and she was flexible in her approach given everything else in the picture. She kept in great communication through the Healthie App, her guidance was practical and realistic. The food recommendations are varied, delicious, and not complicated. Harri provides excellent and clear recommendations and goals each week and they come in the form of beautifully presented e-books so I can continue to refer to them. Harri is clearly knowledgeable, passionate and genuinely cares about her clients. I will 100% work with her again and recommend her to anyone I know!

Harri is the most approachable nutritionist I have ever met. Her directives and advice are easily integratabtle and thoroughly considered with tips that were truly bespoke to my individual concerns. I’ve known Harri for a number of years now and will keep going back to her for advice in the years to come - I still use her original dietary plan for gut health and optimal energy management because it works so well and always leaves me feeling like the best version of myself. I recently completed the Bold Health 4 week fat loss plan and had some great results! Harriet is extremely knowledgeable and gave me some very achievable goals for my nutrition, she also included lots of tips for a better lifestyle, whether it was about sleep, screen time, fitness etc Harriet firmly believes and knows what she's talking about so I felt confident taking her advice. Harri has been my Nutritional Therapist for a little over 4 years now. I live a very active lifestyle playing a lot of sport (incl extreme sports), and gym 4-5 days weekly. I can highly recommend Harri’s 6 week nutrition plan. Her level of knowledge about the subject is seriously impressive and it’s been a real education for me. From detailed analysis of my nutritional habits, areas in which I’ve been deficient and how to rectify them, to suggested meal plans and healthy snack ideas, she could not have been more insightful and helpful. She would analyse my weekly food journals and make suggestions for improvement, as well as answering fully any questions that might arise, however random!
Before doing Harri’s course, I thought I knew what I was meant to be eating, but just needed someone to make me do it! Despite a relatively strict exercise regime, combining PT and cardio -vascular activities such as running and spinning, I always had issues with weight control. Throughout my adult life I had been a yoyo dieter with my weight fluctuating significantly +- 15 Kg at a time! I had accepted that this was going to be a lifetime issue.
In 2017 post menopause, my weight peaked again and I went on a protein shake diet and managed to lose 12 Kg. However, losing the last 3-4 Kg became too difficult and I knew that maintaining this would also require a strict regime. That is when I was introduced to Harriet who had devised a tailored nutrition plan for a friend and the results were amazing.
I contacted Harriet and after completing a very extensive set of questionnaires, we met to discuss my case. Harriet explained very clearly the issues I had with food and guided me through the plan which was specific to my needs, taking into account my habits, fitness programme and food likes and dislikes. I followed the plan which was very flexible and easy to adhere to and within one week, I could see results. After two weeks, I was no longer craving for anything and was scarcely hungry. I was losing weight and eating more than ever, in regular intervals. It was a real revelation. My plan even included my favourite peanut/ almond butter which I had been deprived of for years!
I have now reached my goal weight and maintaining the weight has been very easy. Harriet has educated me and has pointed out the pitfalls that have previously caught me out. I cannot thank her enough and I hope others can benefit from her guidance as much as I have.
